We are excited to announce a major milestone in the expansion of our network infrastructure. As part of our ongoing commitment to improving network performance, resilience, and connectivity, we are expanding our presence into the Telehouse London data centre campus. Telehouse is widely recognized as the UK's most connected data centre campus, providing direct access to a vast ecosystem of internet exchanges, carriers, cloud providers, and network partners. To support this expansion, we will be migrating our core routing infrastructure to the Telehouse campus. During the maintenance window, we will withdraw our BGP announcements from our existing edge router before bringing our new Telehouse router online to announce our IP address space. We will then validate routing across all upstream providers and peers to ensure traffic is flowing as expected before declaring the migration complete. Expected Impact: During the migration, customers will experience a period of network disruption while routing is transitioned and validated. We do not expect services to be unavailable for the entire maintenance window. However, as routing changes propagate and testing is carried out, you may experience brief interruptions, connectivity drops, or short periods of packet loss until the maintenance has been completed and network stability has been fully confirmed. Our engineers will work to keep any disruption as short as possible and will restore full service immediately once we have verified that routing is stable across all connections. We will be conducting a scheduled network upgrade, adding new routing equipment and condensing space in our cabinets to allow for new equipment to be racked. On Tuesday at 08:00 AM local time we will begin the network upgrades, some customers will have machines powered down to be moved to other rack locations to allow for space for the upgrades. We anticipate an outage of at least 3 hours for enterprise dedicated customers, and at least 5 hours for those on our budget / blade servers.
