Verifying

All but one prefix has been moved over onto our on-premise mitigation, the remaining prefix will be moved in the next few days.

Should you have any issues since we switched please let us know.

Update

The last few things that needed to be done by Path have been completed and we are aiming to do the full switch over 5pm - 7pm UTC (11am - 1pm local time in Dallas), ready for peak time in Dallas.

Whilst we didn't anticipate it taking 3 days instead of the 1 day we originally estimated, we have learnt a lot from this deployment that will speed up the London deployment.

Update

This is your 1 hour advance notice that there will be drops and disconnections as everything goes live.

Please remember: The exact duration of this interruption is not strictly defined!

Update

We have delayed the deployment until tomorrow evening as an upstream filter issue has halted progress.

All of the prep work is complete and we will notify everyone again ahead of doing anything that will cause connectivity issues.

Scheduled

We are preparing to transition our network to our own upstream transit providers along with our new on-premises mitigation solution during the scheduled 96-hour maintenance window. This migration represents a significant infrastructure improvement designed to enhance overall network performance, routing control, resilience, and DDoS protection capabilities.

As part of this process, there will be a period of connectivity interruption while routing tables, upstream paths, and mitigation systems are switched over. The exact duration of this interruption is not strictly defined! It may be very brief, but depending on propagation, validation, and convergence times, it could also last longer. Our engineering team will be actively monitoring all systems throughout the maintenance window to ensure a smooth transition and rapid response to any unexpected issues.

At this time, we are awaiting final confirmation that prefix filters are fully configured, validated, and ready on all upstream sessions. Once confirmation is received, we will proceed with the migration as planned within the maintenance window. Safety checks and validation steps have been built into the procedure, and a rollback plan is in place should it become necessary.

While the maintenance window spans 24 hours, we do not yet have an exact execution time for the switchover. We will publish an additional notice approximately one hour before the migration begins once all prerequisites have been confirmed and we are ready to proceed.

No action is required from customers during this maintenance. All changes are being performed on our network edge and transit infrastructure. Status updates will be posted periodically throughout the window to keep you informed of progress, milestones, and completion.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we implement these improvements to strengthen network stability, security posture, and long-term scalability.
